Old Town Playhouse of Traverse City has been awarded a $3,000 grant from Michigan Humanities Council to assist in producing "Barta's Path," an original, dramatic play with original music inspired by the life of Bertha Peth, a life-long resident of South Manitou Island in rural northwest Michigan.
