Friends Good Will Portable Exhibit -- (2006)

The Michigan Maritime Museum (South Haven) was awarded a $5,214 grant to create a portable outdoor exhibit that further explores and reviews the story of Friends Good Will, a historic replica of a tall ship from the War of 1812. The exhibit will stand on the dock next to the ship and will travel aboard when Friends Good Will visits additional harbors. It presents artwork, artifacts, and historical source documents. Visitors will be able to appreciate the different cultural, social, and political dynamics present in the region during the War of 1812.
