| Past
experience: I have worked as a consultant and a presenter with a local history/public history group in Detroit (the Westsiders) and have served as a Public Goods Fellow/Instructor as a visiting faculty member at the University of Michigan (Winter 2005). I am a historian specializing in the history of religion and political radicalism in Detroit, which is the topic of my forthcoming book Faith in the City: Preaching Radical Social Change in Detroit to be publish in March by the University of Michigan Press. I have also given numerous academic and public lectures on this topic and other aspects of Detroit history, from the 1930s to the 1960s. |
