Past experience: Co-planned and coordinated "Life is a Story Day" - a celebration of the writing and stories of older adults. It included a "StoryCorps" - type project, for which I trained MSW graduate students to facilitate the recording of oral histories. My dissertation research (as well as many of my publications) focuses on intergenerational group work and fostering connections between young people and older adults. I have taught a Master's-level social work course (Social Work with the Elderly) and have trained dozens of college and graduate students in intergenerational program planning and implementation.
