experience: I have led numerous public workshops and readings, including for the Grand Rapids Humanities Council, the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, and other cultural organizations. I have also helped plan past Humanities in the Gardens lectures. I have taught creative writing & literature courses at the university level for over ten years & have written numerous essays, reviews, articles & two books of fiction published by Random House: The Widower (2006) and Now You Love Me (February 2007). |
