Past experience: I have conducted a decade of research on traditional weaving and weavers in the upper Great Lakes region and am now writing a book to be published by MSU Press. More than 35 years as a professional folklorist/ethnographer/oral historian specializing in the documentation, interpretation and analysis, and presentation of traditional arts and cultures of Michigan and the Great Lakes region, the Balkans, and Austria.
