Dulcimer Days with The Wanda Degen Trio

Wanda Degen, Dan Giacobassi and Pete Wittig combine dulcimers, autoharps, flute, guitar, harmonica, saxophone and vocal harmony to present contemporary and traditional acoustic music. Appropriate for all ages, their repertoire is an eclectic mix of musical genres including folk, Great Lakes, Celtic, original songs and instrumentals. Participatory family concerts include historical information about the instruments and the music. Program themes: Dulcimer Days Family Concert, Michigan in Song, Celtic Kaleidoscope, A Traditional Christmas, and Hands-on Mountain Dulcimer Workshop. "Wonderful! A lot of interaction and information. Beautiful instruments." Ms. Degen also works as a soloist and with Dan or Pete in duo form.
