Experience:
Trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project in 2006. Winner of National Magazine Award among other writing honors. Expert and pioneer in digital media. Part of the WEBCities training team in 1999-2000 in D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, San Franciso. Taught digital media at MSU's School of Journalism. Creator of Spartan Edge.com, the student online multimedia publication. Taught Citizen Journalism through the Honors College. Served 13 years with Michigan Farmer magazine, the last five as managing editor. I have since specialized in tailoring a presentation that focuses on global Warming & Food. A frequent public speaker, I often conduct workshops on new media and also on the role that sustainable food can play in reducing the threat of global warming.
