We celebrate and strengthen the humanities statewide, providing public programming and funding for organizations and projects from the shores of four Great Lakes, the expansive upper peninsula, Michigan’s rural landscapes, and urban centers. We support Michigan’s communities as they come together through stories, histories, cultures, and conversations. Your support ensures that we can continue this vital work.

In the coming year we will be choosing a new Great Michigan Read title, working with women veterans through our Dialogues of War program, engaging communities in reflective conversations, and uplifting diverse voices across the state.
