This series of four workshops led by local artist E’lla Webber will continue to introduce children to new art materials and techniques and also incorporate education on Black culture, history, and identity. E’lla’s workshops will include hands-on activities like the creation of a collaborative sculpture of Martin Luther King Jr., I Am Somebody mirrors inspired by Jesse Jackson, diversity hats where children can collage materials related to their identities, and constructing jazz instruments.
