The Sound Garden Project at Cheboygan – PULSE Quartet

The Pulse Quartet is an award-winning undergraduate saxophone quartet at Michigan State University studying under Professor Joseph Lulloff. They perform a diverse range of repertoire that will engage and inspire any given audience while breaking down the proverbial barrier between the audience and the performer. This residency is a collaboration with Interlochen Public Radio called The Sound Garden Project. The mission of the project is to plant classical music in unexpected places as the musicians reimagine a 21st-century performance experience. In their ambitious hands, a concert becomes an event, and an audience becomes a community of inspiration, understanding and hope.
